TODAY: Coordinating Meeting, 2 Fundraisers
January 21, 2010Today’s Campus-Wide Coordinating Meeting
7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Palmer Commons, 6th Floor
Conference Rooms 4 & 5
Tentative Agenda (will be reviewed at the beginning of the meeting):
- Introductions – brief history (5 minutes)
- Action plan/category idea – immediate, short-term, long-term (5 minutes)
- Leaders in each category (volunteers, communication, fundraising, institutional support, Haitian cultural appreciation, NGOs) introduce their plans (2 minutes each)
- Student group/University unit/campus office updates (2 minutes each)
- Campus-wide blog introduction (15 minutes)
- Name/logo/slogan (for coordinating efforts) ‘contest’ introduction (2 minutes)
- Campus-wide coordinating goals (breakouts, 10 minutes)
- Report back, decide (10 minutes)
- Conclusion – set next meeting if desired
*Please come with an update from your group, preferably written, so coordination efforts can be as efficient as possible.
*Please send one or two representatives from your group, etc. and announcements will be made to the entire email list (subscribe yourself through the U-M Directory) and here on the blog afterwards calling for volunteers, leadership, and more.
